Statements and Purpose

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization with the purpose to serve humanity so all may live as God intended, this way working with people in situation of poverty in order to achieve justice and positive changes.
ADRA Sudan belongs to the worldwide ADRA network, comprised of more than 130 supporting and implementing country offices. ADRA focuses in the wellbeing of the people and work in five core sectors including Food Security; Health; Economic Growth; Education; and Emergency Management. ADRA Sudan has developed its expertise in these sectors and in various subsectors, specifically in Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Economic Development (including Literacy, Capacity Building and Income Generating Activities IGAs).
